roadster noise

just bought a used roadster and on channels 3 and 4 there seems to be a lot of buzz 1 and 2 are clear. I expect some noise in high gain but this is louder than any of my past amps. had a nomad and it was quiet at high gain. is this normal or sign of a bigger problem. have 30 days to return it. should I?

It's probably a preamp tube. I would check the tube task chart to try and figure out which one it could be. There are some good posts on the site about how to troubleshoot tube issues. Mesa made a video on you tube that is excellent on what you should do to confirm which one it is. I think that should solve your problem. It's a great amp. All of my channels are silent.
