Do you have a Dual Rec.? I just think its interesting the way you phrased the question because I have a Roadster and was wondering if the Dual Rectifier had as much gain as the Roadster. They sound different but I'm betting the amount of Gain for each amp is so high it doesn't really matter which has more.

Gain wise, should be close if not the same. However, again, perceived gain could be also due to how your ears pick up frequencies. Regardless, I would still say they have the same amount of gain. It's more of the characteristics of the gain that matters more...

Actually I have the Roadster but probably worded the question backwards since I am left handed (but play right handed. It's complicated).

HAH! That's great. Dyslexia is a hell of a drug. The Roadster has as much gain on tap as a Dual Rec, however the overall feel of the amps tone is a bit on the darker side.
