Hi,

I'm completely new and happy owner of Mesa Dual Rectifier Roadster 2x12 Combo. The sound is really incredible and everything is working well but ...
I tried to activate/switch on the reverb. But I'm not able to get it working. I'm switching on the reverb on my footswitch (The REV light on the footswitch is lighting) but I'm hearing no reverb. The reverb knobs are at 12:00 (I also tried different positions), I tried all four channels, all combinations with switched on/off of FX loop, all amp types. But without any result.
The user manual is not saying that something special must be done before using the reverb. I was thinking about making some interconnection with cable on the back side but I don't now where and how.
Thaks for any information solving the issue

You may have loose or unconnected reverb lines. From the amp chassis there will be two RCA phono connections that lead to the Reverb pan. Make sure all the connections are good.

My Road King combo did that a while back and it was the RCA wires on the chassis that came disconnected, or loose. I pulled them both off and put them both back on and it works fine now.

PS..... You wouldn't want to trade for a Road King (series 1) would you?

(Heck, it was worth a shot).

I've just tried to take out the amp from the combo and switch off-on the reverb cable connectors but without success :-(.
The shop assistant who sold me the combo told me that some previous potential customer had tried the reverb on the same combo one week ago and it had been working. So I really don't know where is a problem.

Any update on this problem? I'm curious if it was a user problem or amp problem?

Any update on this would be great since I'm waiting on my new roadster 212 combo.

Thanks.......

I'd bring it back to the dealer. Have them deal with it or give you a new one.

My dealer found a reverb ECC83 "burned" so he replaced it by new one and reverb is now working well :)

Oh yeah, I forgot those were tube driven reverb...... I'm glad you got it fixed!! I like to hear a problem is something minor like that (minor, but still a pain in the butt).

Have fun!!!
