Hey guys, I have friend with a mint looking to sell a Roadster 2x12 cab for 400 beans. I am only familiar with the recto cabs I had back in the day. So a noob when it comes to Mesa cabs other than the tones of the recto cabs. So wadda think? Good for my new Mark V and also is that a good price for a mint cab? I hate lugging my Diezel 4X12 to gigs and would prefer to just through the 2x12, head, guitars etc. Those Diezel cabs are too friggin heavy. Thanks.

Anybody have any feedback on how it would compare to a recto cab for a Mark V? Thanks in advance.

its the same as a stilletto 2x12, but with black piping.. overall less bass, tighter, different midrange character

Thanks dmc. Is that a good price for a mint one?

I've got a recto 2X12 and I love it, lets the amp give off plenty of head room. Loud beyond belief. Really nice Bass response.

its 589 new. so that 200 off (more really cause of tax) plus no wait time.. and the fact that speakers should be broken in.

how old is it? I'd say mint that seems good. can you test it with your amp first? some people here say its kinda small, or overly tight with the mark V. I have no experience with it, so i ton't want to sway you either way in that respect.

Thanks man. Not sure how old it is. I have two plans for it. One was to use it live instead of lugging the Diezel 4x12.....and 2 was I just got a JC-120H head and was ant home use it and A/b it with the Mark V so the cleans would all be JC-120, then on the Mark V make ch1 some mild dirt, channel 2 Mark I (If I can ever get the friggin tone down for a nice rhythm chug LOL and the ch3 for my Mark IV also rhythm chug and lead. Kinda would like to have two variations of my rhythm distortions yanno?
