Hi friends!
New to the forum.
I have the Roadster which is an awesome amp to my taste .
My friend and i had an argument about Roadster's lead tones. I mean don't get me wrong i can create beautiful lead tones and without a pedal in front (subjective of course). I know that rectos generally voiced mid-scooped.
But in channell 3 i think has more mids especially in vintage mode. My friend is a rock-fusion player and loves this thick full mids lead tone. After he played with my RS he told me that he is dissapointed that he couldn't find a "decent" mid-oriented lead tone. He plans to test a Deuce as he claims that this amp is more "full mid-oriented".
I never played a Deuce and i would like to tell me if someone has test the both of them about the lead gain tones the mids etc. From reviews that i read, the cleans of Deuce are not so nice like the RS (aka Lonestar!)
Sorry for the big post
many thanks
