Road King / Roadster Clean question

How do the clean channels sound on these amps when you dial up some gain ? I love the LoneStar with a little bit of distortion. I am hoping the clean channel could sound a little Fendery / Voxy with a little bit of distortion.

The other day I did some recording using one of the clean channels on my roadster (I think it was Ch1 "FAT") and cranked the od. man did it sound good on the recording. Thick and slightly overdriven. I dunno about fendery/voxy, I guess it did. Whichever way, it was sweet. 8)
