In short, no.......

Ch 2, in brit mode might get you close using el34s..... I've got clips of the Roadsters brit mode using only 6l6s at www.guitartest.moonfruit.com . I shortly switched to el34s and liked it better but have no recordings of it like that. It had more mids and less brittle top end, but about the same characteristics.

Never played through a Ghia...... That's what I was originally looking for when I got the Mazerati and I'm happy with the Mazerati now. I do use an attenuator to get the cranked tones at a reasonable volume thought.

My favorite amp so far is a toss up between the Stangray and the Mazerati, those are actually the only 2 amps I own now. The Stangray has a wider sound with chime for days, while the Mazerati has a stronger mid-range focus and a tighter bottom end and works better for rock (with pedals).

My favorite Boogie was my Roadster w/el34's.

cool thanks! We played an out door gig last year and a guy was using a Maz28 (I think that was the model) and he had fantastic tone. He told me he was using the attenuator with the amp cranked the whole gig and working his guitar volume. He was also using a stk PRS SE. Made all of us scrach our heads? I think it was the amp more then the guitar? Thanks
