Sorry for the quotation marks in my title here. It's the middle of the night here and I'm half asleep and feeling grumpy I guess. Classic rock used to be the Stray Cats and such and it's still difficult sometimes to think of rock, like Bad Co. and Mountain to be anything other than rock.

And... Speaking of Bad Co. and Mountain I was listening to Bad Co. and for some reason this time was really struck by the tone Mick Ralph's was getting. I've also got a bit of video from Leslie West's "Big Phat *** Guitar" where he talks about a treble booster. I think I also remember something about Ralph's using a treble boost.

Does anyone here have any experience with one? Especially one of the early ones or something meant to emulate that?
