RK2....how to get a smooth creamy lead tone?

Yeah that's right! 8) it is really creamy but right now i can't use that configuration because in my band i need the third channel on raw mode for moderated distortion riffs and so that channel is dialed for riffs ... :roll:
when i'm not playing in the band i use that setup with the third channel anyway....
now i was thinking.... i'm using a little bit of the drive function on my g-force for leads on channel 4 vintage with delay.... makes the sound more round and smooth but... maybe i could get something superior with the OCD instead of the drive of my g-force..... gah!! so much stuff i have to buy..... right now there are more important things to get like a rack case and power conditioner...

Try vintage on channel 4 with those settings, but turn the presence down. That's the only difference between ch 3 and 4 is the presence control.
 
Also try Ch. 3 Vintage with 2x6L6's and 2xEL-34s. Dial the presence way down and put an analog delay on it if you have it.
