Rig help!!!!

Im new to mesa boogies and using effects loops etc and i need some help!

My set up is
EC 1000 -> Boss tu2 -> maxon od9 -> Boss ns2 -> Mesa triple rec input.

Loop send -> input of DL4 -> output of DL4 -> loop return

have i set his up ok?

P.s you got any good settings of a melodic hardcore style sound?

That's basically right, but unfortunately it probably won't sound that good - the Line6 DL4 and the Mesa parallel FX loop do not get on, due to the issue of digital latency. The only real solution is to mod the loop to series. You'll also probably find it better to set the DL4 to 'DSP bypass' (look in the manual for how to do that) as well, or you will likely get a big change of tone and possibly volume when switching it on and off.

I had both issues with my DL4, which was one of the reasons I don't have it anymore - I did mod the loop to series, but it still didn't solve the tone suck completely... the DL4 is just a bit of a tone-sucker in the loop, because it digitizes the whole signal path and not just the delays. Oddly enough it doesn't sound as bad in front of the amp - but that doesn't play well with using distortion on the amp.
