retubing single recto

I'm about to retube my Single Series 2 for the first time. I'm changing all the preamp tubes out for Doug's metal preamp kit, and changing to Ruby EL-34s. Just want to make sure...all I have to do is change the bias switch to EL-34 right? Anything else before I switch out preamp tubes?? Thanks in advance.

Just make sure that those Ruby EL-34's are selected to run at Mesa's fixed bias specs, and yes, flip the bias switch to EL34.

Well I bought the tube kit from Doug under his tube kits specifically for Singe Rectos, but I will def. check. Thanks for the reply.
