retubing DC-3, want more gain on lead channel, help

This will be my first time every buying tubes. I'd like to have more gain and saturation in the lead channel of my DC-3 if thats possible. I plan on replacing the power tubes with the standard mesa tubes and probably the clean channels preamp tubes with mesa's but what can i put into the lead channel to give it more gain and saturation?

V1= TAD RT001 (=selected Chinese)
V2= TAD RT003 (=selected JJ ECC83s)
V3= TAD RT001 (=selected Chinese)

That are the tubes responsible for the lead channel, and this combination will give you all the gain you'll need. The JJ in V2 adds a lot of crunch and attack.
