Getting ready to retube my 400+ and being a "Working" bassman, I dont always have an option to take my amp a tech on each whimm. So how can I safley (In a non life threatning way) tighten and clean the tube sockets and what do I use for this task. I let the amp set unplugged for about a week now with the standby switch in the playing position thinking this would drain the caps. I dont want to "Tease the grimm reaper so to speak"!
