Can anyone recommend a reverb pedal for this amp? I'd be using it the loop so my guess would be an analog pedal because of the parallel loop? I'm not going to mod this to a serial loop because I don't want to lose the solo function(from what I understand will happen if I do the mod).
Thanks

The Boss RV5 is a great reverb pedal and sounds really good with the Dual. Its all digital though.

You don't lose the Solo function if you mod the loop to series, but if you're only running a digital reverb and nothing else in the loop, the parallel loop is actually an advantage anyway. Set the pedal to 100% Effect and control the reverb level using the Mix knob, and it's actually better than a series loop because the dry part of the signal now remains analog.

I would also recommend the RV5. Even though its mix control only goes to maximum effect, not effect-only - it's still more than enough that you will want to turn it down with the Mix knob on the amp.

I recently bought a malekko spring chicken for my DR and its a great reverb. Simple but sounds great . It doesnt do flerb and all the crazy EHX kind of crap but it sounds like a real nice spring reverb.

It did hate the effects loop though. I ended up running it in front of the amp but its true byapss and I mostly use it on clean anyway . It does create a cool echo effect for some crazy textrual solo sounds in front of dirty amp sounds anyway

I'm looking for a good reverb unit too. Mainly my triple rectifier is used for heavy gain metal work... But at home I like to play all kinds of music and I'm missing a reverb ;-) I don't want to spend a fortune on a reverb pedal but it has to be good enough. I don't want crappy tones when the pedal is engaged.

At first I considered a T-rex Room mate... but 300 euro's... ouch. I'm looking for something around 100 and 150 euro's.

Did you made a decision yet on what to get and why?

Advice on a reverb is very welcome!
I searched the whole morning for reviews and advices... have seen the whole internet now, including "goatse" :-(
