Recto-Verb as a Bedroom Amp, Attenuator?

Stay away from the Attenuator route and buy a good practice amp. Power soaks, Hot Plates and the like sound good when they are used to knock a few Db off your amp, but when squashed down to the bedroom settings your amp is working way to hard for what you are getting. Used too much and your prized amp will get smoky and smell funny. Happy Hunting.
