Hi guys,

I'm a very fresh Recto Recording Preamp owner. At the moment my new baby needs a little change (change of the transformer) so I don't know yet how it will sound. I have a question to all ex- and owners of this piece: how does it sound? I'm a very big fan of really heavy stuff. Can I get really huge heavy tones from this pream?

Thx for all resplies
Mat

btw. I have 2 Fifty amp

Yes, did you not try it before you got it? btw, turn your poweramp up high and the preamp down low to get the best tone!

I guess you need a 230v tranny ...
well I had it for 1 year, 110v version, I used to use a 110-230 ext step down converter, bought in CARREFOUR... the french hypermarkets!.

this pre really rocks, but you need a 2:100 to get the best of it to sound like a real recto.
this pre has a very nice sparkle clean. grat for funk, or country stuffs.
the high gain is recto like.
