I found a 295 for $400 on craigslist, and I need a power amp for my recto pre. Has anyone tried this? How does it sound? I also want another power amp so I can run my recto pre and 50 cal together in stereo. Should I wait for a recto power amp instead of the 295?

IMO just buy it ! It's probably the best power amp ever made. I don't know how the recto pre will sound through it (probably a bit less sizzle than with the 2:100, but really more "singing"), but I'm sure you will like it anyway.

How much does it weigh? 75 LBS? My rack is already really heavy LOL. The only thing holding me back from buying this, is the Money. I can't make up my mind weather I should sell my peavey ultra plus for this... :?crane said:
