I want to "brighten" up my Dual rect a bit. I plugged in a open back 1x12 cab w/ a V30 and was suprised at how much of a difference it actually made. Although it had the chimey I am looking for, I lost that bass I like w/ my oversized Recto 4x12 w/ V30s. I am thinking about making a 3/4 back piece for my cab to try and bridge this bass/chimey complex. Has anyone ever tried this? What type of wood should I use? Any design ideas for the cut-outs? Thanks
