Rectifier PRE & 2:90?

Hello.

Anyone knows how Rectifier recording preamp sounds with 2:90 pwr amp?
I need something beyond MKIV/Formula/Triaxis without losing smooth rock character, so I want to keep actual power amp.

I haven't tired this personally, but I know people who have had good results. I think your challenge is going to be switching the deep and half in addition to the modern.

i want to say that Ty Tabor of kings X ran the fx out of 2 channel rect. to his 2:90 for Dogman. i cannot say i am 100% correct, just pieced together things that he said vs. what boogie gear was available at the time. some killer tones on that album, so i may be worth looking into
