I have about 13 black recto knobs if your interested. I dunno if your lookin for silver or black though... Mesa also sells them but they're like 5 or 6 bucks a pop. Lemme know

Thanks for the offer, but I'm looking for the silver ones. And $5 each...eeek...I guess it's not so bad, as I only need a few. Trying to pimp out a few guitars I have, and those giant, chrome recto knobs would do the trick.

one thing I did to the chrome recto knobs on my rack that looks pretty cool:

go to a craft store where they sell beads. you can get tiny little beads that will fit right inside the recessed marker dots on recto knobs--just put in a tiny little drop of glue first.

I did it on my rec pre and my 20/20 with some red beads just so I could see the **** settings, but it actually looks pretty cool up close too, especially if you get something that will catch your rack lights,

Do you have any picutures?

I've tried to take pictures a couple of times but they're really small and they just look like black dots in the flash. I'm a crap photographer. I'll try again when I'm back home on the weekend.

What if you used glow in the dark beads or paint? Then when the lights go out you can still see your knobs. Hmmmm. After market parts? Let me know before you do that because I want to patent that... J/k

woo, here it is! First publicly known Rec Pre mod <g>

BTW, the tone on Channel 2 is a nice post-metal rhythm tone kind of in the vein of Red Sparrowes. Good match for another guitar with a mid-y Marshall sound.

I don't really have that much trouble seeing the dots. All mine have Gold inside the little dots, and it especially makes the black ones easier to read (mine are all black except for the OUTPUT and SOLO due to the chrome chassis) But Something like Red would look cool, or if you got ones that would glo in black light, and put blacklights in your racklighting...that'd be wicked.
