Anyone have any experience using the Seqius Motherload for recording their Vintage Boogie? I am recoriding my Mk IIC+ at home and mic'ing a cranked amp is just not feasible. What about experiences with an iso-cab?

I use a closet and close mic a cabinet. I keep the SM57 mic about 6" away from the speaker. The clothing really soaks up the sound. Then I'll adjust the levels, no clipping allowed!!!! I keep the amp close to my recording console and adjust to the best sound thru the monitors to fit what ever piece I'm working on. This gives me the best idea of what is actually being put down on tape. Keep in mind the less distortion records better. IMHO Seems that distortion to our ears and to the recording device is not the same for some reason.
