Hey everybody--
Did some better clips this AM.
Warning, 12MB wav file again.

All clips recorded with my Yamaha Image Standard, into the Rec Pre, into the ADA, directly into Sonar 6 with no other processing. Stuff from the ADA tends to come out very "mix-ready' so it sometimes sounds a bit compressed on its own, but once you drop it in a mix, voila...
Rec Pre settings are around:
Gain 12:30
Treble 1:00
Mid 1:30
Bass 9:30-10:00
Presence 10:00
Master 3:00
On most of these clips I am playing unusual chord voicings to show off what I think is the best feature of the Rec Pre in DI mode-- it's pretty well-defined and you can hear complex voicings even with a lot of saturation.
Clip 1 is Ch 2 Raw mode, bridge single coil, into the "2x12 open back vintage" setting on the ADA.
Clip 2 is Ch 2 Raw mode, bridge single coil, into "2x12 closed back"
Clip 3 is Ch2 Modern mode, bridge humbucker, into "4x12 closed back"
Clip 4 is Ch2 Vintage mode, neck humbucker, into "4x12 closed back vintage"
Clip 5 is Ch2 Vintage mode, bridge humbucker, into "2x12 open back vintage"
Clip 6 is Ch2 Modern mode, bridge humbucker, into "2x12 closed back vintage"
The ADA's for sale, actually, check the classifieds. I like it a lot but I rarely end up using it-- I have to totally change my live Rec Pre settings for Ch 1 and it's a hassle. If you need silent recording, it's the shizz.
