the gain is only comming from the studio pre? or did you use any pedals infront?
which channel did you use for this clip?

yep, just the gain of the studio. Volume (which is substantially the input gain) and Lead Drive both around 7 out of 10. I used the lead channel 'cause the only other one is the clean channel

Sounds a lot like a Mark (the clip and your description lol)! Have you ever had a chance to compare the studio and a mark series?

well the studio pre is supposed to be quite close to the Mark IIC+ preamp section... let's say the studio pre and the quad are the preamp line of the mark series. I never tried a mark series...

Ah cool stuff, yea I've heard quite a few people say that the two sound similar. Perhaps a rack system is in order, I could........
