Well I'm faily a newb when it comes to Mesa but I am seriously considering making a decent offer on this amp. I am currently playing a JVM and I've been through a ton of amps becasue the Mark Series seems so intimidating but every time I hear a tone that is what for me would be the ultimate, I find out its a IIc+.

I think I mught just do it. I've done some research on the board and I am just hesitant to pay that much with no Simulclass. I acatually have no idea about that effect on tone but I would hate to drop that kind of dough and end up missing an ingredient of the sound I'm after.

As far as the price, hey if the guy gets it, then that's what its worth. Remember the old D1 and S1 lines in Macroeconomics?

The 60/100 is a little bolder and "in yo face" than a simul. If you are looking for the "smack down" metal tone, it will do that better than a simul. Otherwise they have a very similar tone.

Has anyone considered that the seller may be using Ebay to try and lure a "backdoor" deal. That might explain the high starting bid and get him out of Ebay final value fees, etc....
