R2 volume mod pot location

Looking for a good place to mount the pot for the R2 volume mod, I decided to take out the 120v outlet and use that space. Haven't seen it done this way on the forum, but seemed like a good option. I don't think I've ever used the outlet anyway. Just made up a small metal plate to mount it in. I think it made a nice job and it's easy to locate and adjust by reaching around the back of the amp.

Ive never seen that way to do it. Most of the ones ive seen people have removed the footswitch jack for the eq. I like your way better. Ive never used the outlet on mine. Not even sure if it works :lol:

What do you think of the swamp thang with the Mark III? How does it compare?

I put the Swamp Thang in because I moved the EV12L to a theile cab that I built. I do not like the Eminence speaker by itself in the Mark III but it blends well with the EV. I haven't tried any other combinations but this one seems to sound great to me. It makes the Mark a little lighter to move around also. I'm happy with it.

Ah. So you always run it paired with an EV loaded theile?
