Hey gang, first time post here. A short story about my Roadster
About 6 weeks ago I ordered my Roadster and the dealer was kind enough to let me take the floor model home until mine arrived (knowing it could be a while). A few days ago I received a call that mine came in.
Still in the box I take it home and get fully set up to play. Then come the problems.
1. The Roadster was ordered to be equiped with EL34's, it had 6l6's. (very minor problem I would have accepted it with 6l6's and bought EL34's and play with tones).
2. The black diamond plate is to low and hits several of the eq/volume knobs on channels 1 and 3! Some of the knobs would not roll unless a good amount of force was applied.
3. And finally there is no sound. (except a low pop when switching mute on and off). I double and triple checked everything (plugging straight in).
Needless to say I was dissapointed that whole night but I brought it back to the dealer the next day and they we're great. They we're very surprised though, it being a Mesa. They will contact Mesa on Monday and I will be getting another call when the next one comes in. One last thing, the guys at the dealer did plug her in and it worked then.
I did take a couple photo's and am attempting to post them here but forgive me if they do not show, I am a forum noob.
