Hey All,

New to the forum and looking for some Quad Pre Amp help. The channel B volume is about 80% less than channel A and both are at the exact same settings. I have the low/line level switch in the back on low level. Oddly enough when I put the switch on line level, channel B crackles like crazy and at times comes in at the same volume as channel A but the crackling continues. I have already done the obvious troubleshooting of the cables, speakers and power amp. Any thoughts/ideas? Thank you!

Check Return-B jack socket (if you're not using it) and give it a good clean out: Spray some switch cleaner onto a 1/4" jack plug and give it good hard bully-ramming.

Other than that: V22 dude.
