Here's a clip I've been spreading around the interwebs since I recorded it yesterday morning. I recently purchased a Quad, and it's running through a Carvin TS100 and into a 1960A with G12T-75's and Vintage 30's in an "X" pattern. For this clip, I mic'd only one of the Vintage 30's.

EDIT:

Here's the same setup and settings on a G12T-75:

That sound good, thanks for the clip.

drucifer, great work. what guitar/effects (if any) did you use.

you using lead2 channel??

cheers

Thanks for listening guys...glad you liked it.

Guitar is an LP Studio with EMG's plugged straight into the pre, with is connected directly to the TS 100 w/ no effects. There's a touch of multiband compression in the full mix, but I couldn't help myself there.

L1 was used for the clip. I'll probably do another micing only a G12T-75.

Very cool.

Yes sounds like lead 1 on 4-5 on the gain at least?

Looking forward to hear more.

Here we go again, only with the G12T-75:
