Yeah. Soon as I get a free weekend I'm taking my head down to the store. I'll have to plug it into the FX loop. Somehow I'm doubting that it's just the power amp that's giving it a scratchy sound, especially if the presence is dialed in quite low, like you said. I hope they still have that amp. Anyone ever try a gibson goldtone? They sound so awesome.
