Hey all. Just bought a 1x12 5:50. Awesome amp ! Tried a 2x12 5:50 combo
side by side, but went for the smaller footprint. I ordered a 1x12 Express cab,
should be here in a week or 2.

Why would you say such a thing to someone that just bought a brand new amp?!

Don't worry. Your amp is just as reliable and kick *** as any other Mesa. And, in the event that something DOES happen you've got the 5 year warranty and amazing Mesa Customer Service to get you back. I've owned two Mark IVs, a Roadster, two Rectoverbs, Stiletto Ace and Deuce, F-30 and F-50, DC-3, and now a Mark V. Only ONE of them has ever given me a problem and needed service (the second Rectoverb), and I'm pretty sure it was user error (doh!).

Since replacing the tubes and having the footswitch repaired my 5:50 has been terrific.

The 5:50 is as reliable as any other Mesa amp.
I see you've got an ElectroDyne too.

I have not had any issues and I love it.

The color combination you chose for your Express is my absolute favorite. I've been seriously considering ordering a custom Mark V in those same colors. Then I'd have the opposite setup as you - stock Express combo & custom Mark V head. Haha! Rock on, man!
