Hey guys, I just have a question/problem.

When I hook up a Digital Delay pedal (its a boss) in to the FX loop on my mesa dual rectifier.. and then turn on the delay.. if I play any higher notes on the the guitar, when the delay kicks in, it becomes broken and distorted.. this only happens with my Mesa amp, and only in the FX loop.. just wondering if anyone knew what the problem might be, and if theres any way (besides sending it in) to fix it : )

Thanks

You are probably driving the front end of the pedal too hard. Try turning down the send level of your amp LOTS. Since it's a pedal it's probably designed to only accept small signals like the kind coming from a guitar pickup. Your preamp signal (fx loop send) is usually a hotter line level type signal.

Hope that helps :)

Hey, thanks so much! That did the trick : ) I was running it way too high.. thanks again ^^
