Price question.

I was just checking out the price list thread and noticed something. The prices listed there are $100 lower than the prices in my Guitar World 2006 buyers guide.
My question is: why is this?

According to my dealer (the amp one), Mesa stuff has gone up in the last month. The price list may be out of date now.
