Price Check for a used Dual

Hi everyone. I don't normally post in the modern era forums, but I'm here to help out a friend. He might be interested in buying an '05 3ch Dual Rec, and wants to know what a good offer would be. The seller wants $1250. Is that reasonable, or is it a bit high? I told him to offer $1100 and see if he would sell. What do you guys think would be a fair asking price? My friend (buyer) is on a tight budget, so keep that in mind.

$1,000 in the states is perfectly reasonable.

yeah, $1,000 is a fair price, give or take $100 depending on age and condition.

$1250 is a little high unless the thing is in like new condition.

I'm with the others... offer $1000 and see how desperate he is to sell. If your buddy isn't in a hurry he can easily find a better price.

If the amp is beat to **** I'd drop the offer to $800.

My original advice was to offer $950, so by your advice, I wasn't too far off. I've seen the amp myself, and it isn't mint, nor is it beat to ****, so, I'll tell him to offer a grand.
