I'm gonna buy all new preamp tubes and put them in and put a cover over the first preamp tube.
Any ideas on what else might cause the noise?
It does it even worst when the head is sitting on the cab for some reason.
And what tube shield would be okay for the mesa two channel dual rectifier?
Its a two channel dual rectifier.Jak0lantern01 said:What model amp? What about your guitar jacks and grounds? Have you tried a different cable? Are you using the FX loop? I've noticed when playing clean and having the FX loop cranked I can get a distorted sound.
Yeah the amp repair guy did it when he checked it.camsna said:Did you clean your sockets?
