I have a feeling that this thing is going to go for over 2K...and with good reason. It is an incredibly rare amp...There are far fewer pre500's than there are C+'s...and the amp sounds truely amazing! The chrome chassis /black diamond plate only add to the rarity of the amp!

yeah, when i decided i wanted to sell the amp i was like "Awww man this is gunna be a bitch to sell without someone trying it first" cause i've never seen one that looked like mine or sounded like mine before i thought maybe it was a lesser mesa or something ...

i don't know... i was actually hoping to get close to what i paid for it 4 years ago which (with shipping) was a little over $900... then i freaked out when i read that thing on wikipedia and then double freaked out when i posted that thread and got a huge response ...

it truely is a cinderella story... i mean ... if cinderella was 15 years old and i had a chance to sell her on ebay

Actually, I am thinking about bidding.

I don't have any Rectifiers but I do have some other Mesa gear.

For the last few months, I have been looking for a nice two-channel Rectifier (not necessarily a Pre-500) but have not been lucky enough to find one to my liking.

I am also considering a Roadster.

There are six days left in the auction so I have some time to think about it and if I do bid, it will not be until right before the auction ends.
