PIEZOS! I want to get a piezo for my Mexi Strat but I'm not sure of which to get. The Fishman, LR Baggs, Ghost..etc. Please post clips if you have a piezo. Thanks in advance. Marc
Here is a clip I did of "Natural Science" by Rush. I did it to hear the difference between running direct into the console vs miked through an amp. Direct is on the left, and miked is on the right. It's not real perfect or anything like that, but it gives you a good idea of what it sounds like.
Technical junk:
PRS Singlecut Trem with a Graphtech Ghost system. Left side recorded direct into a BlueTube preamp and then into an mAudio Delta 1010. Right side was recorded through an SWR Workingman 160 amp, into an Avatar 2x10T cabinet miked with an AKG D3600 mic going into the same setup as above. No EQ or effects were used on either side.
