dont get me wrong, i wouldnt even be selling the quad preamp if i wasnt strapped for cash..
and i do wish to own a MKIV at some point. :)

I do. Full power, class A, triode or pentode - but only using two power tubes - like a 50W Marshall. Mighty loud through one or two 4X12 cabinets.

The cleans are mighty fine on the IV even without being a true class A circuit, but my 1965 Deluxe kills it.
