ok my tube issue has been solved !

thanks to EVERYONE who helped ! you know who you are

my next even more minor issue is a loose jack on my fx return...when i wiggle it a bit it workd

what type of jack do i replace it with or is there something i can tighten down inside?

EDIT ok the 1/2 inch is tight outside no go - what is the part number to replace the jack?

thanks

I got tired of fooling with those long ago. Now I toss them out and put in the much heavier Switchcraft #11 and #12a http://www.hoffmanamps.com/MyStore/perlshop.cgi?ACTION=thispage&thispage=parts8.htm&ORDER_ID=269384337. Scroll down page to see them.

Saves from having the problem repeat itself. And yes they will fit.

wax on wax off wax on wax off

ok im calm

first - thank you to everyone who has been helping me here on the boards and by phone

this ******** is pissing me the hell off , i cannot get the fx loop to work

im DONE opening this thing up and trying to get it right

the amp alone works fine - no issues its just the damn fx loop

Off to the repair guy Monday !

im done with Anger; time to send it to a tech before i do something really stupid ( im pretty g-d close at the moment)
im truly wondering if this boogie can F'in Fly

Some words to ease your pain: ANYTHING plugged into the loop of the C+ will degrade the GRAIL-TONE to some extent. That means any outboard EQ, graphic or parametric, delay, chorus, etc..... I have NO reason to "********" about this issue. I'm not trying to sell an amp or anything.

This is NOT to say that the onboard 5-band graphic EQ of the optioned Boogies will "suck" tone. It is quite the opposite. 8)
