Ibanez JS-1000 ==> Mesa Studio Preamp ==> Boss GT-6 ==> Peavey 50/50 Power Amp
==> Rectifier 2x12 & EarCandy 1x12 (in stereo)

Been having a lot of fun with this. The EarCandy 1x12 kills the Mesa cab. I think its got a Green Machine speaker in it, but I haven't taken the back off yet to check.

Hmm, yea nice, but..well...where is the...uhm.. rig? :roll:

You might want to consider ditched the GT6 for something like a rocktron xpression or intellifex. I bet the GT6 is robbing some tone.

The StudioPre and Peavey 50/50 got me rolling with my setup too. I have a StudioPre at home and rehearsal now. When having a rack setup you either have to have the right transportation and a rehearsal space with easy access or two setups. I have a sedan and our rehearsal space is in a basement with about 15 stairs straight down = two setups or a bad back. :lol:

You need a cab stand to get that 2x12 cab off of the floor. Ask some of the guys who have been around awhile. Getting that off the floor will help your sound. (how long will it take for someone to contradict me . . . 1. . . 2. . . ) :lol:

Next time post pics under Rigs & Tones on the Post Your Rig thread. If you haven't gone there yet you should check it out.

I thought the GT6 was the last analog unit in this series. I've heard too many good things about this floor board but whatever i guess you're right it's hard to beat the rocktron warmth for the price.
