I figured since he says two IIC+s in the pic, this is in the right section :)This is actually 1/4 of the original size, I'm trying to find the original photo :)

Very nice picture!!!! THANKS BRO'..

The upper C+ is a bit wierd... It has MKIV small knobs and a lil' knob in the footswitch jack, still have to figure out what does it do.

I met JP at a local music store Mesa promotion. He runs his new Roadmaster(?) lead channel to sound like a MKIIC+. He is a really nice guy and played for us about an hour or more. If you haven't seen it check out the new G3 in Japan DVD those guys have too much fun.

Where did you meet him?........what is the RoadMaster?!?

What does Mesa call their 4 channel monster Roadmaster Roadhog I can't remember it is what JP is using these days now that he is officially working for Mesa. It was at Motorcity Guitar just north of the Motorcity of course.

hahaha dude....it's called (the mighty) Roooooooooad Kiiiiiing..... btw i'm not really sure you can get close to C+.... i'm gonna try one soon and let ya know how it feels

I don´t think he succeded in making his RK sound like a C+. His old lead tone (C+) was better in my opinion. The RK still sounds like recto.

I noticed that strange knob on the top amp a few years ago. On the 6 degrees tour he had 3 C+´s with that knob. So far no one has figured out what it is.

I agree! I don't like the tone on the past 2 albums when he uses the RectoKing.

Road Kill?

I've never heard one so I'm not dissing it in any way.

But I am starting to wonder why they don't re-issue the Mark IIC+. The market would be huge, as long as it's true to the original design.

If i remember right....it's a mark snyder' mod, that pot controls the amount of eq signal.......

I say leave the c+ be as is. Reissues always turn for the worst. My 2 cents would be... Make a Mark V!!!!!! four channel with independent EQ

Channel I- mark one clean
Channel II- classic R2 channel
Channel III- Mark IIc+/III lead
Channel IV- all new mark lead

I would imagine, from Boogie's perspective, that that would tromp too far on the range they have made exclusive to the Road King. It's probably not territory they want to fill.
