Recently I acquired what seems to be a Prune era Boogie Princeton. This thing has been messed with so much, it’s hard to tell what it is anymore. At the moment it’s in pieces and I’m needing a little help.

What I’m in search for is a schematic, board layout, mod list, really anything showing what Randall did to these back in the late 60’s. I know it’s a Tweed Bassman circuit, but I would love to see how he laid it out and how he cascaded the gain stages. I have everything I think I need to restore it including a ton of original parts. I just want to try and get it as close as possible.

I’ve searched for pics of the circuit board and for originals but they are very difficult to find, which I’m sure all of you know. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Here’s the pics of the chassis. The board is in pieces so I have recently bought a new tweed Bassman board, transformers, and various replacement parts for what I’m missing. As you can see, this chassis has been miss used over the years and modded several times. I have no idea what’s really true about the chassis and what was left in the circuit board was a hot mess and it did not appear to be a Bassman circuit, but more like a poor attempt at a 100 watt circuit that was never finished.

Man -- information about those is super, super scarce. It is nearly impossble to find more than a handful of pictures of the Prunes at all on the net. I would actually consult Mesa themselves and see if they can give you some advice or offer some resources.

There's been one sold recently that has good pics with gut shots:

Different platform but might be the same amp. Each pic takes a bit of time to load:

Pics of one here:

The other place you could try (if you haven't already) is the Amp garage forum:
