pedal for light/medium gain

I currently use an OCD as a boost on my Roadster. I am looking to add a pedal to use with my clean channel to give me a good medium gain tone. Would you suggest another OCD, Maxon 808, or a BB Preamp? Any other suggestions?

For light to medium- Xotic AC, Barber Direct, or maybe Lovepedal Eternity.
I am in the market for an AC Plus- just getting some more scratch together...

Cmatmods Signa Drive is a great pedal as is the Jetter GSR

MI Audio Blue Boy.
Very transparent, more adjustable and cleans up better than most. Less mid-hump than the Barber or Xotic. The Signa Drive is closer to the Blue Boy, but doesn't clean up quite as well.

For low gain overdrive I chose the Barber LTD. A very transparent, tasty overdrive. As far as a mid gain, I chose the Xotic BB preamp. A very nice overdrive that is transparent as well. Each of these pedals work great on either channel of my Lonestar Classic and they also work well together.

You might consider the Arion MTE-1 Tubulator. Low bucks, but fab low to medium gain sound! My Heartbreaker and Pignose amps *LOVE* it!

i just got my hands on an AC booster and it sound really nice. i didnt get too much time to play with it but it has plenty of dirt to it but also has alot of clarity too.

Barber DD Super Sport has a mid eq control and alot of other eq tweaks to dial in a precise eq. Best bang for the buck.
