After playing around with different amps for the last two months and settling on LSC and LSS (while also adding a second Parker to my collection), and then dropping <gulp> $120 on an Evidence Audio Lyric HG cable the verdict is in:
FANTASTIC SOUNDS.
I was skeptical about the Evidence Audio and its 10 hour break-in period (10 hours to get to 80% of best sound, 40 hours to get to 100%) but it really is true: the guitar started sounding better and better and I'm sold: it really is like taking a blanket off your amp or clearing a long-standing head cold.
As for the Mesa's: I'm really starting to dial-in some AMAZING cleans with the LSC (the LSS as well) and when I need some fur I channel switch to the LSC ch 1. I'm still working on the exact lead sound but have found a number of good ones. These amps are great.
The Parker provides a lot of different sounds: the coil tap knob really works (guitar ends up sounding quite strat-like) and the Fishman in the bridge really is quite good at acoustic emulation.
I'm happy as a clam! The final test will be when I do a first big gig in September; outdoors opening for Adrian Belew, TU, and Devereaux. I'm going to use both amps and will see what happens. Given a previous thread I'm probably going to buy an electricity cleaner prior to the gig.
