Im messing about with my tone right now, trying to find some new sweet spots on my triple (3ch) and I noticed that even though my effects loop is not engaged I had to cranck the send volume and turn the return volume right off to get proper output on the amp. What gives?
Also I am at the mind set now where I wont even put my chorus through the loop anymore, not just because of the volume drop when the FX loop is engaged ( i know how to balance that against the output) but because of the drop in bass, its minor but it adds more fizz, even at giant volumes, it really chops/colours your tone. I ran my chain all out front and it was uncomparable...Peterson>Morley>Rocktron>BBE
