Dear Randall Smith,

Thank you for racking up the price on a modification to my amp purely to make a profit. You knew well enough that the amp didn't meet Mesa/Boogie standards when you began offering the modification under your name, but decided that a little more coin in your pocket was more important than the satisfaction of a dedicated customer. The spirit of money in technology lives on in your fine company and I congratulate you!

Sincerely,
Andrew

Dear Randall Smith,

Please ignore the previously posted dribble by "music box". Rest assured, you are teh win and everyone loves mesa 8)

I call them "mega boogies"

haha 8)

hey, i'm just bitter. im a comsumer, i have every right to be bitter. if you love his buisness ethics, cool! i don't. end of subject. drible it may be, but im entitled, and not half as mad as those that paid big bucks for this amp.

thanks. :)

not trying to start anything, but my curiosity and perhaps naivety leads me to ask what is wrong with mesa's business ethics?

theres nothing more wrong then any other companies buisness ethics. unfortunately, buisness exists so a guy can make a living, instead of for the benefit of mankind! i'm just having a bad day and thought i'd take it out on my guitar amplifier instead of someone i know. we already have a whole thread dedicated to this particluare situation, sorry to branch if out into your vintage forum

So is this about a mod to your Mark III? If so, how much is it?

Don't hate the player, hate the game. It's not like Marshall did not go through 5 versions of what they call the SLP/Superlead. There are a ton of guys who made a good living out of modding old Marshalls. Jose, Roccaforte, Soldano, Splawn and Mark Cameron just to name a few.
The mods from Mesa are just the basic cost of labor. If Mike B. finds something in your amp that needs attention, no one complains about the thousands of problems he has fixed for free.

Dear Randall Smith:

Thank you for NOT moving production overseas where you could have gotten labor cheaper and making a big profit margin. Thank you for staying in the US.

Thank you for accelerating production what used to be a an 18 month waiting period in the early 80s to now having local authorized MESA Boogie Dealers.

Thank you for starting all of the high gain amplifications breaking new grounds where other high gain amplifier manufactures are now taking advantage of.

Thank you for not going into the modeling amplification business.

RR

Dear Randall,

Can you please re-issue the DC Series so that my amps will increase in value?

PS My DC's kick *** on the Nomad that you replaced them with. :D

Also, can you give Mike, Rich and George at the factory raises, their services and customer support are wonderful.

Thanks for the amps,
Andy

Dear RS,

Can u reissue the MarkII+C....
I'll be happy if its just the Preamp section  or power section

Lucr,

It actually sounded great until the footswitch stopped working and the amp wouldn't stay on the same channel for long enough to a few notes.

In all honesty, I've been looking at them again. It's a sickness I tell you.

Randall,
i'm sooooo thankful for the studio22+..
but why did you build them without the graphic eq, it makes all the difference!
