Hey guys! We're in the process of recording an EP with our friends at Cordova Sound in China Grove, NC. I just wanted to share some pics and a few vids (they are really dark, so it's more of the sound.....also, keep in mind it's a camera microphone, so the tone is thinned out a little, and it's loud so turn your speakers down before playing it!!)

They are all labeled 'Recording'
I'll post clips soon hopefully, and some more pics and vids as they get uploaded.
Guitars used so far have been for me: Ibanez RG520QS(mainly) w/EMG 81/89, Gibson Melody Maker w/single coils, Fender Tom Delong Strat w/SD Invader. Other guitarist has used my RG and his ESP/LTD MH-1000(mainly) w/EMG 81/85. Cleans are going to be recorded today, so, we're going to experiment with an american tele, an ash strat with SCN pickups, and guitars loaded with EMG's (81/85/89/60) through all the amps in the pictures. Our bassist used a Mark Hoppus signature Fender P-bass for the bass tones. We sampled it and 2 Ibanez Sound gear basses through a couple bass rigs and ended up using that guitar. It sounds very good for this style of music on this recording....surprisingly.
My triple Recto and the Hughes and Kettner in the photos have been used so far along with my Recto Std. Cab, with a Sennheiser 421 mic on it, and an Orange cab loaded w/ V30's and an Audix I5. The Orange is turned down at the board for more ambient undertones. The main sounds are with the Mesa Cab, and lots of overdubs (5-7 times) on both distortion channels, and "Amp 3" on the H&K, using both gain A and B. We boosted the signal with a Maxon OD9 with the original Chip set in it, and ran the microphone signals through a separate mixer and eq. I can't wait to get the finished product......it's going to sound massive.
