For the last five years I've owned an older v twin single rack space preamp that has developed a loud hum in the clean channel. This thing has always and still does sound fan damn tastic, but recently I fired it up one day and there was this over bearing loud hum in the clean channel. I've unplugged everything but the power amp, preamp, and speaker cables and it still hums. I changed the two 12ax7's, (thats all the tubes it has) and guess what? STILL HUMMING. Nothing is different, same outlet, same pedal board, guitar's, everything. The overdrive channel is quiet as a mouse, as the both alway's have been. CAN ANYONE SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS????
