Hi guys! I bought an old Dual Rec, 2 channel version. The previous owner says it is a "pre-500" version (Rev. C), but im thinking its not.

I have asked Mesa Boogie for support on the serial number, but haven´t got any answer. So i ask you.

The front has a blue light when powered up insted of the red thats used on the new amps. On the back side you have 4 4 8-16 8-16 speaker inputs. This amp is wired for 110v, so im using a 220v converter (lives in Sweden)

Serial number:

No it is not, the pre 500's are just that, any one with a S/N 500 and below, ex.. R00492 and a revision C switches over somewhere in the 200's.

I certainly hope he didn't pay 'pre 500' prices. JC Denton is currently proving there is not a whole lot of difference between an early Dual and the later models.

So, after opening up the amp for a check i found out that this amp is built 4-´94
