Hi all,
Great to be onboard here. I'm a long-term Rivera user owning the following amp heads: Fandango, Quiana Studio and Rake.
I was looking at acquiring a Dumble clone (Amplified Nation Phoenix Fury/Overdrive Reverb model), but was advised by a close friend to have a look at the Mesa Boogie Road King II amp head. I'm told the II version of the Road King has a phenomenal clean channel based on the Lonestar, and is a top amp all-round for many styles of music.
I'm keen to find a great used RKII locally here in Sydney, Australia and try it out in the flesh. I'm also keen to hear what others on this forum have to say about the RKII in general, and also in comparison to the Rivera amps that they own too.
Kind regards..
Wayde
