I bought an Eminence Tonkerlite neodymium speaker for my Studio .22+ to try and lower the weight, but I stupidly forgot to check the impedance I was ordering and realized that I got it that it's a 16 ohm. I've been using it with the 8 ohm tap...the Studio .22 expressly recommends running the included 8 ohm speaker off the 4 ohm tap for a different sound, so that implies to me that it's also fine to run the 16 ohm speaker off the 8 ohm tap (the .22+ manual does not mention this but they're almost the same amp, so I imagine it applies). Any reason this isn't safe for the amp?
